CHOOSE FROM:

The intense rich malt flavour of Rewarewa Honey
Also known as the native 'red' Honeysuckle or Knightia excelsa, Rewarewa honey has a burnished amber colour and contains a high level of health-giving anti-oxidants. Rewarewa is particularly good with strong savoury dishes.

The smooth velvety finish of Kamahi Honey
Kamahi forms the backbone of much of the wild "bush" honey which is produced in New Zealand, providing honey connoisseurs with a rich amber honey that is not as sweet as most other honey types. Kamahi works well in vegetable or meat dishes and marinades.

The light, creamy, slightly citrus zing of Tawari
One of New Zealand's more scarce native honeys, Tawari is sourced from the Kaimai-Mamaku ranges. The Tawari flower, delicate and attractive, blossoms in summer - generous attributes that are reflected in the flavour of this fine honey. Tawari honey is popular for use in desserts especially accompanying fruit platters.

The rich caramel flavours of Manuka
Mid to dark amber in colour, some Manuka honey contains a strong antibacterial agent (hydrogen peroxide) and a very high mineral content - making it extremely beneficial for one's health. Manuka is often used in hot drinks for winter ailments, especially for sore throats, ulcers and digestive ailments.

The fresh taste & complex fruity notes of Five Finger
Five Finger honey only occurs every 5 to 10 years, as flowering depends on an unusual match of fine sunny weather in late winter and strong bee colonies operating at the same time and in the same location. Five Finger honey is amber in colour and is great for use in desserts or warm fruit drinks.

The creamy, delicate floral bouquet of Meadow
Reminiscent of warm sunlight on a soft summer meadow, Meadow is a popular honey with those who prefer sweetness without the full body of many of the New Zealand native honeys. Meadow honey can be used throughout cuisine including baking.

The classic texture & strength of flavour of Heather
Heather honey is gathered from the nectar of the deep, vivid pink-purple Ling flower that erupts in the late summer throughout the Tongariro National Park. The smooth Heather taste rates amongst Europe's most popular honeys and is one of its most expensive. Try Heather on its own with wholegrain toast or oatcakes.
